The Post
Kent College Dubai is seeking an exceptional teacher and leader to take on the role of Director of Sport. This position, which has oversight of all year groups from FS1- Year 13, is a vital one for the continuing success of the school. Kent College Dubai is already ranked in the top schools for Sport in Dubai by Which Schools Advisor (https://whichschooladvisor.com/uae/guides/best-schools-in-dubai-for-sport) and has heady aspirations for the future. The next Director of Sport will lead the future development, establish a clear vision and direction and ensure active participation in DASSA and BSME. They must be an excellent teacher and coach, as well as being exceptionally organised and operationally strong.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification, likely to be from a British or Irish University depending on the subject
- Have a minimum of two years teaching experience, ideally in a British curriculum school
- Be committed to upholding the KCD Staff Charter, which can be found attached to this advert
- Willing to immerse themselves into school life, contributing to our pastoral system and ECA provision
