Job overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Design Technology Technician to join our team at Ormskirk School. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our thriving Technology Department, which encompasses both Design & Technology and Food Technology.

As our new DT Technician, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of practical activities. This will involve ordering resources, upkeep, setting-up and clearing away equipment and materials, and mounting work for display, all whilst adhering to health and safety protocols in the department.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting students in their learning journey. You will work closely with our talented staff, providing essential operational and technical support in a collaborative, flexible, and friendly environment. ROLE DETAILS

This role is part time (across 4 days, 20 hrs per week), permanent and term time only. Hours are 8:30am-1.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
