Job overview

Hours of Work: Permanent role, 40 hours per week fixed by roster.

Fixed start and finish times between 7:15am and 5:45pm

Responsible to: Nursery Lead and Headteacher

Purpose of the position:

To provide a stimulating and enriching environment for our nursery children in accordance with Aspire’s values and ethos: Teaching children to love learning is our guiding principle. Wonder is the desire for knowledge. Our teachers will spark curiosity in our children to set them on path to become lifelong learners.

Early Childhood Teacher - Person Specification Mandatory requirements:

  • Bachelor of Teaching ECE/BSC or BA in Education/Childhood studies/ Early Childhood education, or equivalent Level 7 early childhood related degree
  • Teacher Registration certificate (NZQA overseas assessment framework may be required)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Personal and/ or Professional knowledge and experience with 3 months to 2 year old children
  • Mature, composed, self-starter who works well in a team dynamic
  • Excellent relationship builder Loves the outdoors
  • Full UK/Ireland/ USA/SA Driving licence.
