Job overview

The school is seeking to add capacity to our Lower School and are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner, holding a full and relevant Level 3 qualification or above to join our friendly staff team. This role would suit anybody that has experience as an Early Years Teacher, Senior Nursery Educator, Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Teacher, Nursery Educator or Nursery Assistant. The role will start as 0.6 FTE during the academic term, with possible scope to expand as the nursery grows.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or other full and relevant Early Years qualification).
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Knowledge of child development theories and practices.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
  • Paediatric first aid certification.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g. safeguarding).
