We are seeking to appoint a new Early Years teacher to join our growing teaching team at this inclusive all-age special school. We are looking for an innovative Early Years teacher with experience in working with pupils with severe learning difficulties in a mainstream or specialist setting.
Hazel Oak supports a broad range of learning difficulties which include Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, social, emotional and mental health, speech, language and communication difficulties, plus more complex and medical needs. Communication, wellbeing, life skills and the functional use of core skills are central to our curriculum, which brings real life experience into learning.
The successful applicant will be required to deliver adapted Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to meet the diverse needs of our learners, with regular opportunities to develop your pedagogy through collaborative team working, creating inspired experiences and cultural capital for all learners.
Staff are actively involved in the school’s development and have access to regular training, peer and wellbeing support.
