34.5 hours per week (with ½ hour unpaid lunch break) Term Time Only - 39 weeks per year
Smallwood Primary School is an expanding school, with a Language Resource Base and Children’s Centre, conveniently situated close to Earlsfield mainline station and Tooting Broadway underground. We are a rapidly improving school and need enthusiastic and committed teachers/support staff to continue our forward momentum. Our most recent OFSTED inspection (2014) describes us as ‘a good school with outstanding leadership’.
We are passionate about the education of our children, continuous professional development of all staff and a strong partnership with parents and the wider community.
You will be calm, patient and resourceful individual who will be able to respond positively to the challenges of working with young children within our mainstream early years classes. You will also join our team of lunchtime supervisors to ensure the safety, well-being and good behaviour of pupils during the lunchtime break. A minimum of G.C.S.E. grade C or above in English and Maths and NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or relevant extensive experience is highly desirable.
You will be positive and enthusiastic in their approach and will seek to provide the opportunity for the children they are working with to achieve their full potential, both academically and socially.
