Do you want to make an impact? Keen on being part of a team concentrated on delivering outstanding Teaching and Learning and not filling in forms about it? We know, particularly at Sixth Form, that great teachers transform the life chances of our students.

Logic Studio School is recruiting an English teacher to support our GCSE and A-level provision.

As in all schools, English is an integral part of our curriculum offer. As a business and computing specialist school you will be surprised by just how well developed our offer is. Our established reading programme ensures all students can access the full curriculum. We have a keen focus on the development of oracy across the curriculum, cos talkin’ is important innit. Part of your role will be to continue to drive literacy across the school.

We are looking for an English teacher ready to progress their career. You will join our team of highly skilled and supportive staff helping our students reach aspirant destinations by leading our English provision at both GCSE and A-level.

We boast state of the art facilities and a work life balance many schools can only dream of. Great teachers change lives. Great schools change teachers.

Our West London school sees small class sizes as we know this makes a real difference.

Many schools talk about ‘well-being’ commitments these days, but very few deliver. Find out how much better your work/life balance could be by choosing to join Logic.

You are:

We’ve got a really clear idea about the type of teachers we’d like to join our team. We know there is a recruitment crisis right now, but that doesn’t mean we’ll just settle for anyone we can get.

Ideally you have been teaching for a couple of years and are looking to step up and make your mark. We are a small school of 48 in Year 10 and 48 in Year 11. We have a thriving A-level of 15 students in Year 12 and slightly fewer in Year 13.

We REALLY want people who:

  • Believe it’s a schools responsibly to prepare students for their lives – not just for exams.
  • Want to be in a school which will openly question why we are doing what we are doing and how do we do it better.
  • You have an itch that you just can’t scratch in your current job, that you want to be part of something new that’ll make a massive difference to students’ lives.
  • Are all about working smarter, not harder.
  • Are horrified about the number of NEETS in this country and want to do something about it.

What we offer:

  • A friendly and well-resourced school with strong leadership.
  • A strong focus on staff development.
  • A supportive Senior Leadership Team who lead by example and listen to staff.
  • Outstanding teaching and abundant opportunities in a diverse and compassionate community.
  • Friendly and well-behaved students.
  • A positive work environment and a culture of working together.
  • Excellent pastoral structures and systems.
  • Extremely high-quality provision for supporting our vulnerable students.
  • Employee Assistance Programme with free and confidential counselling and advice.
  • Season ticket loans.
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • Annual flu jabs.
  • Excellent transport links to central London and Heathrow.
  • Fantastic sporting facilities and ICT.

At Logic Studio School you will make a difference!

Sometimes education just doesn't make sense. Employers are saying that the system isn't producing young people suited to the modern economy. Universities tell us that undergraduates are unprepared for independent study. Something is missing. The whole concept of Logic has been developed with this and the local community in mind. We want to link the education that students receive with the careers available in the local economy and beyond. We want to help students access a better future with outstanding progression routes into, employment or university.

We offer a unique educational and business partnership specialising in Computing Technologies and International Business for 14-19 year olds. We offer an academically rigorous but relevant curriculum, connections with our industry partners and a small school approach.

As part of Tudor Park Education Trust and we strive to provide outstanding teaching and abundant opportunities in a wonderfully diverse community. We benefit from fantastic new facilities and state of the art computing and software, that allows us to continually develop a more imaginative and modern curriculum.

Logic Studio School is located on a large green site less than 30 minutes from Waterloo and only 7 minutes’ walk from Feltham station. With easy access to the M3 and M4 we are also well located for staff looking to live outside of central London.

We are ambitious for our students and truly focussed on determining their future success. For many of our students this is all about unlocking their aspiration and making them see where they are going. We will give students what they need: specialised workplace skills, high levels of business literacy and numeracy and a readiness to enter industries that need them. We need you to help us deliver it.
