We are seeking a passionate English practitioner to join the next stage of Kingsley's exciting journey. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing a love for reading and writing, while also striving to improve academic outcomes across all key stages, with a particular focus on Key Stage 4 as KS4 Lead. Kingsley School is located in the coastal town of Bideford, Devon, within a UNESCO Biosphere and World Surf Reserve. The school occupies 25 acres of beautiful grounds situated above the town of Bideford, just 5 minutes from the beaches at Westward Ho! and Instow, and the picturesque fishing village of Appledore. The school is co-educational and has around 420 students aged 2-18 accommodated in the Nursery, Pre-Prep, Prep and Senior Schools. Approximately 75 of our students are boarders, with the rest being day students.

An academically non-selective school, Kingsley School can boast of a wide range of facilities including a fully floodlit all-weather 3G pitch, a theatre, and further impressive sports, arts, surfing, outdoor education and environmental facilities. We are an Artsmark school and have won a number of national awards and competitions in sport, STEM, the arts, surfing and environmentalism.
