Highbury Fields School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. This post is subject to a DBS enhanced disclosure check.

In line with KCSIE 2022 and safer recruitment practices, the school will conduct an online search for all shortlisted candidates. The online search is part of our safeguarding checks and will seek publicly available information on candidates’ suitability to work with children. Shortlisted candidates will be provided with further guidance and will be asked to clarify their online presence. 

Highbury Fields School is a flourishing, high performing 11-18 girls’ state school which was graded Outstanding in October 2016 and September 2022.

The school is looking to appoint exam invigilators to invigilate public examinations that take place in summer and autumn terms, as well as mock exams which are usually in November and March each year. Invigilators will be responsible for supervising public examinations under the direction of the Examinations Officer. No experience is necessary as training will be given, but applicants should have good communication skills and be able to adhere to strict guidelines as set out by the Examination Boards.

Please note the advertised actual hourly rate range is based on continuous service, with the maximum range indicating 5+ continuous years with local government/schools. The starting hourly rate will be calculated based on the individual circumstances of the successful candidate.
