Job overview

Lydiate Learning Trust is a network of schools and academies across communities in the North West of England. The Trust is founded on the core belief that every child should be afforded the very best opportunities in life. We engage with all within our Trust and beyond to enable them to show the world their particular strengths, their ideas and their passion. Our partnerships across the region are helping to ensure that this opportunity is extended to as many young people as possible.

We are seeking an Executive Director of Human Resources who will undertake responsibility in all aspects of HR, including recruitment and retention, succession planning, employee relations, policy development, organisational change and performance management and CPD. The successful candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to relate well to people on all levels with sensitivity, tact and diplomacy. This is a busy and dynamic post and will require someone who is highly organised and possesses excellent administrative skills, remains calm under pressure and can work to tight deadlines. Experience of working in a Trust in a similar role would be an advantage but is not essential.

If you feel you are up to the challenge, keen to do well and would enjoy working with Lydiate Learning Trust, then we look forward to hearing from you. In return, we can offer the right candidate the chance to be creative and innovative and offer excellent progression and professional development opportunities. We will support you all the way.

We do hope you are that special person we are looking for and we look forward to hearing from you.
