TERM TIME ONLY

Full Time (30 hours per week)

Grade C/D £23,115- £28,326 - pro rata approx. annual salary £16,074/£19,698

Starts December 2024

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and organised Finance Assistant to join our friendly team whilst providing maternity cover to the Finance department. The post holder will be required to deliver finance and administrative services, working alongside and assisting the Finance Officer.

You must have excellent organisational and communication skills, work well under pressure and be able to prioritise your work as required. The successful candidate will be computer literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft applications. Attention to detail and accurate working is crucial to this role.

Previous experience working in Finance and within Schools is desirable but more important is a competence working with numbers and systems.  

Your role will be to provide a professional service, supporting the Finance Officer in all financial aspects of school management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the financial policy. The post holder will also undertake general administration duties including responsibility for the administration of school trips and any other tasks as required to enable an effective and efficient financial administration service.
