About the team
The finance team consists of three financial services assistants and an Assistant Accountant reporting to the Head of Finance, who provide the financial services and oversight for Harlow College and Stansted Airport College (part of Harlow College)
About the role
To join the team to provide a high-quality customer focused administrative finance service to both our teaching teams and other service area teams. This is a predominantly a desk base role working in the finance office at the Harlow College campus.
What we are looking for
A team member with good customer service skills to provide a first point of contact between service and delivery team and the finance team. They should be numerate person who can meet deadlines, prioritise work load and has strong attention to detail. Please note that finance experience is desirable but not essential.

The locality
Harlow is strategically placed on the West Essex/Hertfordshire border at the centre of the London, Stansted, Cambridge corridor, one of the fastest growing and economically important areas in the UK. About the College
Harlow College is a strong and successful further education college which aims to provide our students with “Not just courses, careers”, providing them with the skills to achieve 1st class destinations and employment.
We place learners at the heart of all we do, and were graded as good by Ofsted who commented that ‘Learners make good progress because their teachers plan lessons and good resources that make learning challenging and stimulating’.
