Job overview

The successful candidate is likely to have extensive experience in catering, food preparation and/or nutrition. They must exhibit proficient practical skills, the ability to effectively manage practical sessions, inspire students, and uphold high standards. Experience of working with a range of ingredients and cuisines would be beneficial.

All staff are fully supported in their professional development. 

Food Technology and Nutrition is a popular subject in the Senior School and is well resourced. Students focus on high skill preparation of a wide variety of ingredients and learn food and nutrition issues in relation to diet and health throughout life. They develop knowledge and understanding of food hygiene and safety in the cooking and storing of foods as well as how to budget wisely.

This is a temporary position to cover staff absence until at least Christmas, and possibly beyond. We are looking to appoint as soon as possible and will therefore consider applications as they arrive. Successful candidates will be invited to a formal interview and may be given a specific task to do. There will also be an opportunity to tour the School on the day.
