General Science Teacher (Key Stage 3 - Physics, Biology, and Chemistry)

ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s College British School of Latvia seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic General Science Teacher to join our exceptional team. This role involves teaching Physics, Biology, and Chemistry to Key Stage 3 students. You will work with well-behaved, motivated students in a highly resourced department with excellent facilities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and deliver high-quality General Science lessons to Key Stage 3 students.
• Use the Canvas learning platform effectively to structure and deliver lessons.
• Incorporate VR and AR technologies to enhance student learning.
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN and high-achieving students.
• Develop engaging and innovative curriculum content in line with school objectives.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment.
• Engage in pastoral duties, promoting student welfare and development.
• Contribute to the wider school community, including trips and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote best practices and continuous improvement.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A recognized teaching qualification and relevant degree in Science.
• Experience teaching Physics, Biology, and Chemistry at Key Stage 3 level.
