An inspirational and energetic Head of Art is required for September 2018.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious teacher to develop further the Art at Hazlegrove. The Department is housed in a purpose built building with the new Art Room (opened in September 2017) overlooking fields and trees towards Glastonbury Tor through a full height North facing glass window. Next door, is the Design & Technology Department which includes a newly equipped IT facility to support the teaching of both Art and Design & Technology.
Hazlegrove is a thriving South West Co-Educational Prep School with boarding numbers at capacity and waiting lists in a number of years. Pupil roll is around 360 with 100 full boarders. Based around an 18th century house and set in 200 acres of parkland, the school enjoys outstanding facilities. The recent Inspection Report judged the school to be excellent in all areas.

About King's Bruton
King’s Bruton is a mixed independent school with sixth form in the Somerset town of Bruton. Students attend the school from the ages of 13 to 18, with the option to board throughout their school careers. There are approximately 370 students on roll. The Somerset school operates in partnership with Hazlegrove Preparatory School, in nearby Sparkford.
King’s Bruton was founded as a boys' school in 1519, admitting girls in the late 1960s before becoming fully co-educational in 1997.
