Meadow Park School is a pupil referral unit situated in the borough of Knowsley on Merseyside. We provide a quality educational experience for students who have or are experiencing difficulties in a mainstream setting due to mental health, social, emotional or behavioural needs.

 We support young people to develop alternative strategies to improve their resilience and confidence through a personalised curriculum, delivered by dedicated, experienced and qualified staff.

 We seek to recruit a well-qualified and enthusiastic Head of Behaviour and Attendance from January 2024. The applicant should be a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational individual, with the ability to work in a team. They will be passionate about supporting pupils to improve their attendance and behaviours, whilst maintaining the very highest of standards. An ability to establish and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children is essential.

 The Head of Behaviour and Attendance will support the Headteacher in:

·        Communicating the school’s vision, and supporting the Headteacher’s strategic leadership

·        The day-to-day management of behaviour and attendance in the school

·        Formulating the aims and objectives of the school

·        Establishing policies for achieving these aims and objectives

·        Managing staff and resources to that end

·        Monitoring progress towards meeting the school’s aims and objectives
