Head of Department

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
• Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with the British educational framework.
• Mentor and support teachers within the department, promoting professional growth.
• Monitor student progress and implement strategies to support achievement.
• Collaborate with other departments and senior leadership to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student success.
• Stay abreast of educational trends and integrate best practices into the department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Science, Math, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Teaching certification and relevant leadership qualifications.
• Significant teaching experience and prior experience in a leadership role.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead a team.
