Head of English

We are seeking an enthusiastic, engaging Head of English to lead the teaching of English throughout the School, fostering and encouraging a love of English at every level. Having responsibility for the Library, supporting the Librarian to provide the best possible learning resources and engaging with Pre-Prep English Teachers to ensure a consistent approach to Literacy and English. This is an exciting opportunity, to share our vision to give each child the most complete education.

Twyford School is an independent day and boarding school for boys and girls aged 2 – 13 located on the edge of the South Downs National Park, 3 miles outside of the beautiful historic city of Winchester. It is one of the oldest prep schools in the country, possibly the oldest.
