Our department is made up of a team of enthusiastic and experienced teachers who are committed to providing high-quality education and inspiring students to have a love of French. As the leader of the department, you will have the opportunity to teach a diverse student body and collaborate with other departments to instil a love of French into our students. The department provides students with a rigorous and engaging education that prepares them for success in any field they choose to pursue.
As Head of French, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a high-quality curriculum.
You will work closely with other heads of department to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to teaching and learning and will collaborate with external partners to build relationships and develop programs that extend beyond the classroom. You will be accountable for leading, managing developing French across the school, and raising standards of student attainment and achievement.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a fluent speaker of French, with a strong understanding of the French curriculum, and have a passion for sharing your knowledge with others. You will need to be an excellent communicator and have strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to motivate and inspire others.
