A vacancy has arisen for the position of Head of Maths at the Children's Support Service, which is a good and highly regarded Alternative Provision based in the South of Essex.

This post will be based at our new purpose built Fairview site in Basildon. Our aim is to provide lasting, meaningful, and positive outcomes for children who are unable to access mainstream education.

You should be someone who: ·

Is a strong teacher, able to teach to iGCSE/GCSE level or equivalent .

Is aware of current social influences facing young people today

Can provide every child with personalised learning programmes

Values and respects every child, building their self-esteem and confidence

Collaborates with other professionals

Has a high standard of literacy

Shows kindness and compassion

Preferably has previous experience of working with vulnerable and disadvantaged pupils
