The role

Due to a promotion of the current post holder, we have an exciting opportunity arisen for a Head of Maths. We are looking for someone with the drive, vision and enthusiasm to lead the Maths department at Kettering Buccleuch Academy to new levels of success.

About You

You are an outstanding teacher who is able to demonstrate that you have had success in raising students’ standards of attainment in Maths. You have a close eye to detail and are able to lead and manage a large team, whilst retaining the highest possible standards. You are incredibly tenacious with a high level of emotional intelligence and are fully committed to providing an excellent learning experience for students at the academy.

Kettering Buccleuch Academy is a co-educational academy open to students aged 4 –19. We offer a well-rounded education to children from the northern area of Kettering and its surrounding villages.  We welcome students of all abilities and all backgrounds, and our academy is free of charge to attend.
