The position: Head of Middle and Upper School Grades 7-12 (100%) (m/f/d)
Starting 1. August 2025, we are looking for a motivated and dedicated leader to lead our Middle and Upper school to become a place of innovation and joy of learning.
Your tasks
Leadership and Strategy: Take on the pedagogical and operational leadership of Grades 7-12, ensuring a challenging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that aligns with the vision and mission of the Obersee Bilingual School.
Curriculum Development: Drive the advancement and implementation of the middle school curriculum with a focus on academic excellence and personal growth for students.
Teacher Development: Support and develop the teaching team through regular feedback, coaching, and targeted professional development opportunities.
Student-Centered Focus: Foster a positive, student-centered environment where all learners can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership, parents, and colleagues to ensure smooth transitions between grade levels and into high school.
Operational Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the middle school and upper school, ensuring adherence to school policies and efficient resource management.
Your profile
Proven leadership experience in a comparable position
Recognised school leadership qualification (EDK or equivalent) with a strong educational background.
Strong proficiency in German and English is an advantage
A visionary leader who can inspire students, staff, and parents alike.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with cultural sensitivity.
Strong organisational and solution-oriented mindset with a structured approach.
Experience in change management, team development, and promoting a collaborative teaching and learning culture.
A passion for innovative, future-focused education that meets the needs of 21st-century learners.
