Head of School

The Board of Directors invites applications for the role of Head of School for January 2025 due to the retirement of the current postholder. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a highly successful school which is also an English Hub. The Head of School position will compliment and lead a strong senior leadership team under the strategic direction of the experienced Executive Principal.

St John Bosco Catholic Primary is a one form entry primary in the heart of West Bromwich, serving a thriving local community and is heavily oversubscribed. The school prides itself in supporting the wider community and in its relationships with the local parish. The Head of School will be someone who will maintain and look to further develop these links through the principals of Catholic Social Teaching.

The new Head of School will have a proven track record of building and maintaining excellent relationships with staff and pupils, whilst setting challenging goals that motivate and foster continued improvement. The successful candidate will possess strong intellectual abilities, first class strategic and communication skills and a track record of whole school leadership.
