Headteacher for Morgans Vale & Woodfalls Primary School

Morgan’s Vale and Woodfalls CE Primary School is a single academy trust which also includes the Mini Morgans Preschool provision. We are a small school in the centre of the village communities of Morgan’s Vale, Woodfalls, Lover and Redlynch and nestled between Salisbury and the New Forest. The school prides itself on creating a happy environment for children to learn in. The position of Headteacher is vacant for the first time in over fifteen years, due to the retirement of the current postholder.

This is a full-time on-site role as a Primary School Headteacher. As such, your day-to-day tasks will include providing strategic leadership, managing staff and resources, implementing policies, and ensuring high-quality education for students. You will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, fostering a culture of inclusion and diversity, and promoting the well-being and personal development of both students and staff.

Qualifications

●       A qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience, NPQH essential.

●       A proven track record of successful school leadership and management

●       Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills

●       An understanding of current educational policies and practices

●       An ability to promote a positive learning culture and drive continuous improvement

●       A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

●       An inclusive and supportive approach to education

●       Excellent organisational and time management skills

●       Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities

●       A willingness to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider community
