Morgan’s Vale and Woodfalls CE Primary School is a single academy trust which also includes the Mini Morgans Preschool provision. We are a small school in the centre of the village communities of Morgan’s Vale, Woodfalls, Lover and Redlynch and nestled between Salisbury and the New Forest. The school prides itself on creating a happy environment for children to learn in. The position of Headteacher is vacant for the first time in over fifteen years, due to the retirement of the current postholder.


Forward-thinking and creative applicants who wish to make a positive impact on the lives of the children in our community, maintaining the Christian ethos of the school are sought. This is a full-time on-site role as a Primary School Headteacher. As such, your day-to-day tasks will include providing strategic leadership, managing staff and resources, implementing policies, and ensuring high-quality education for students. You will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, fostering a culture of inclusion and diversity, and promoting the well-being and personal development of both students and staff.

 

Qualifications


●       A qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience, NPQH essential.

●       A proven track record of successful school leadership and management

●       Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills

●       An understanding of current educational policies and practices

●       An ability to promote a positive learning culture and drive continuous improvement

●       A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

●       An inclusive and supportive approach to education

●       Excellent organisational and time management skills

●       Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities

●       A willingness to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider community

●       A passion for providing high-quality education and ensuring the well-being of students
