After 20 years of fantastic service, our Headteacher will retire in July 2025. This gives us an exciting opportunity to welcome a new leader to our wonderful school family.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a strong track record of working as part of a Senior Leadership Team.
  • Lead school improvement and raise educational standards for all children.
  • Have an excellent knowledge of curriculum development from Early Years through to Year 6 (this is particularly important in our school where we have mixed age classes)
  • Enjoy developing, coaching and supporting team members to ensure they provide the best possible education and care for our pupils.
  • Align to the mission, vision and values of the school.
  • Be approachable and accessible to all staff, pupils and parents, demonstrating empathy and compassion.
  • Have a strong knowledge base and extensive experience of supporting children with SEND.
  • Is willing and able to get involved in all areas of school life showing flexibility and adaptability.
