About Mallorca International School
Since our founding in 2016, we have grown rapidly, welcoming students from Nursery through to Year 11 on one campus, which fosters seamless transitions across early years, primary, and secondary stages. Situated in the North of Mallorca, we deliver a rigorous British curriculum enhanced by our dual qualification offerings, enabling students to meet both British and Spanish educational standards. We are fully authorized by the Conselleria d'Educació and regularly inspected by the National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS) on behalf of the British Council, ensuring excellence and compliance with high standards of educational quality.

The Role
As Headteacher, you will lead a team dedicated to creating an inclusive learning environment supported by a very strong SLT. Your role will involve:
- Overseeing academic and pastoral development across all stages, from Nursery to Year 11.
- Guiding strategic growth and innovation, ensuring we continue to meet the evolving needs of our students and community.
- Fostering a nurturing school culture where students feel secure, valued, and empowered to meet the demands of a modern, global society.
- Engaging with parents, staff, and external bodies to uphold our high standards and enhance the reputation of Mallorca International School within the local and international community.
- Safeguard our students and act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead in collaboration with our experienced DDSL
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a leader with:
- A passion for international education and a commitment to maintaining the values that make our school distinctive.
- Proven experience in school leadership, ideally in a British or international school setting.
- Strong understanding of the British curriculum, with experience in or willingness to engage with the Spanish education system.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive school environment that supports linguistic and cultural diversity.
