At the Stockton Sixth Form College site, we are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support with the smooth running of a dedicated faculty offering provision for secondary students (11-16) with Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs (SEMH), who:

 

·        Can support teaching staff in the delivery of the national curriculum and contribute to the development of other support staff and students. 

·        Demonstrate an understanding of and empathy for learning difficulties and disabilities and have emotional resilience to work with challenging students

·        Has experience of liaising with outside agencies, such as the Local Authority

·        Holds a level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent


This role could be combined with the 0.5 Teacher vacancy.
