The Pointer School is an Independent prep and pre-prep in Blackheath, South East London. We are seeking inspirational, dedicated, and enthusiastic staff to join our thriving holiday club.
Our exciting play-based Holiday Clubs run during all school holidays and are open to all children aged 3 to 11, including children who are not current pupils at The Pointer School.
The successful candidate will have a passion for working with young children and may be looking to start a career in childcare, gain or develop existing skills, or try something brand new. Our Activity Leaders are high energy and are expected to lead a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, sports, games and drama.
A passion for working with children along with adaptability, flexibility and reliability are key. You must have the right to work in the UK, Hold or be willing to obtain a valid DBS and be at least 18 years old.
Our holiday clubs run seasonally during: October Half Term, Christmas & New Year, February Half Term, Easter, May Half Term and Summer Holidays.
Hourly rate: £13.15 per hour.
The Pointer School is totally committed to safeguarding the welfare of students and young people and expects the same from its employees. Online searches will be conducted on all shortlisted candidates prior to interview. All new staff will be subject to enhanced DBS clearance, identity checks, qualification checks and employment checks to include an exploration of any gaps within employment, two satisfactory references and registration with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
