What the role involves:

The HR and Accounts Administrator will join our small, friendly HR and Accounts Teams in providing a high quality, efficient HR and Accounts service for the school. You will provide high volume and fast-paced effective administrative support across the HR function with particular focus on recruitment administration, employee records, absence recording, operational HR administration and Accounts data entry and reconciliation.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience of working at administrative tasks in an efficient and pro-active manner.

• Be friendly and approachable.

• Be highly organised.

• Be able to work effectively under pressure.

• Have the ability to prioritise and work accurately with a high attention to detail.

• Have excellent communication skills, particularly in the drafting of correspondence, formal letters and responding to queries.

• Be able to build effective working relationships and work well as part of a busy team.

• Be proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel and ideally have experience of using databases.

• Understand and respect sensitivity of HR and Accounts information and employee records and ensure confidentiality of all written and verbal communications.
