ACS International Schools are recruiting for an IT Systems Administrative Assistant to join our IT team based at our Cobham Campus.

The IT Systems Administrative Assistant supports ACS’s IT Strategy through the effective maintenance of essential business information and core IT services, as well as the efficient management of the IT Department. The IT Systems Administrative Assistant reports to the Data and Systems Integration Manager but works closely with the Head of IT to deliver department-wide objectives.

Principal Accountabilities:

·      Ensure the accuracy of Active Directory data (user details, contact details and extended attributes)

·      Help to validate and support improvement in systems, processes, and procedures used across the organisation to maintain complete and accurate records.

·      Effectively administer the internal phone system, adding users, updating entries, and assisting with setup and day-to-day use

·      Support management and ongoing improvement of ACS Zoom contract.

·      Administer ACS mobile phone contracts (checking lines, packages and ordering handsets as required)

·      Provide basic front-facing IT operational support for students, parents, and staff interacting with IT systems.

·      Help to maintain the Visitor sign-in systems and Guest Network provision.

·      Update IT information on Schoology (intranet)

IT Department Support

·      Assist with the management and co-ordinate holidays and necessary cover.

·      Ensure team compliance with required training (Safety Cloud and Educare)

·      Support staff professional development, including travel arrangements.

·      Administer IT subscriptions and contracts, including budget preparation and payments.

·      Manage logistics for IT clients and service providers (guests and visitors)

·      Coordinate and arrange meeting rooms and facilities for IT visitors and internal staff.

·      Assist the Head of IT with general office administration as required.

Qualifications and Training

Essential requirements:

·      Level 3 (or NVQ Level 3) qualification, with additional training in office administration or

entry-level IT certifications are preferred.

Knowledge and Experience

·      Experience administering IT systems and processes (Active Directory, Zoom, Outlook)

·      Comfortable with contemporary Cloud-based technologies and their user interfaces

·      Familiarity with IT Department working environments and systems

·      Basic level understanding of Windows and Apple OS

·      Basic level operational support of iPads, Interactive TVs, Mobile Phones and other IT hardware

Location: ACS Cobham

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm

Situated on 128-acres of Surrey countryside, 20 miles south of Central London, ACS Cobham enrols over 1,350 students aged between 2 and 18 - Early Childhood through High School - offering both the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, and an American curriculum, including Advanced Placement (AP) courses.

Campus sports facilities include six tennis courts, an Olympic-sized track, playing fields for soccer, rugby and baseball and a six-hole golf course. A state-of-the-art Sports Centre houses a 25-metre competition indoor swimming pool, basketball/volleyball show courts, dance and fitness studios, and a café

The Dormitory provides a home-away-from-home for over 100 students, aged 12-18 (7th through 12th Grades). Boarders share ergonomically designed two-person rooms with ensuite facilities and internet connections; there are student lounges, kitchens, computer and study rooms. Six full-time Dormitory house parents and over ten resident teaching staff ensure an active yet well-considered programme of pastoral care, friendship and advisor groups, house activities and weekend trips.
