Derby Grammar School is looking to appoint a passionate Key stage 1 teacher. Starting in January 2025 or sooner you will join an excellent teaching team.  

Derby Grammar School is co-educational independent school that has provided excellent schooling to pupils from Derby and across the County. Our school setting dates back to the 18th century and is surrounded by extensive grounds.

Established in 1995, Derby Grammar School is a leading independent school for children aged between 4 and 18. Located in the Derbyshire suburbs of Littleover our secluded grounds provide the perfect setting for a first-class educational experience.

We are looking to appoint a Key Stage 1 teacher who will promote a love of learning and stimulate intellectual curiosity amongst pupils at Derby Grammar School through inspirational teaching and guidance, ensuring each pupil is supported to achieve his or her potential.

The main teaching role will be to be the class teacher for Year 1 and Year 2. The ability to offer co-curricular activities or Primary School subject leadership would be an advantage.
