Thank you for considering joining our community at The Telford Langley School.

At The Telford Langley School, we work hard to provide our pupils the very best education possible. Our ethos of ‘Ensuring Excellence’ is at the heart of everything we do. This extends to recruiting the highly effective staff that our pupils deserve. We place a strong emphasis on both high standards of education and personal development. To do this, we nurture and develop staff who work collaboratively and strive to be their professional best every day.

We want everyone in our community to achieve all they can whilst making a difference for those around them. Celebrating the successes of both pupils and staff is at the core of our day-to-day practice. We work hard to develop relationships and place a real focus on collaboration.

We are proud to serve our community. This means we draw young people from a wide catchment area. We have just over 1000 students in years 7 to 11. The main school building opened in 2012 and a new building was added in 2021. This means we have extensive, modern facilities as well as the most current technology to match this. Pupils and staff value this as it enriches the learning environment for all.

For our staff we offer a comprehensive induction and a peer coaching programme to adapt to the professional development goals of staff. We also operate an extensive network of sharing best practice not just in our school, but across our entire trust. We support, empower and challenge staff to make a real difference in raising standards and have many examples of staff that have progressed significantly in their career.

Our school is on a journey. We have the confidence and belief that we know where we are, what we have to do and where we want to be. Thank you for considering our school. If our vacancies and values match your skill set, we would be delighted to hear from you. Visits to our school are welcomed and encouraged so you can see for yourself our sense of purpose and community.
