Salary: £12 per hour
We are looking to appoint part-time, permanent Kitchen Porters to join our successful team on a term time basis.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 9am – 3:30pm, Friday 8:45am – 2:45pm
38 weeks – Term time only
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, including dishes, utensils, pots, and pans. You will ensure all kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment are kept clean and orderly. Additionally, you will assist with the unloading and proper storage of food deliveries, dispose of kitchen waste and recyclables in accordance with college policies, and support chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as required. Adherence to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen is essential.
