We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and innovative KS2/3 Science teacher.

 

As a passionate science teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring young minds to explore the wonders of the world. You will be committed to using engaging and evidence-based teaching methods to foster a love of science. Experience with modern learning technologies would be beneficial, but what matters most is your enthusiasm for creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment. With a strong foundation in educational theory, you will be able to effectively implement strategies that help our pupils achieve their full potential. We are also seeking a teacher who is excited to contribute to whole-school initiatives and events, promoting science across the entire school.

 

It would also be useful to have:

  • experience of teaching to, or knowledge of, the 11+ examination and Common Entrance at 11
  • knowledge of teaching to the ISEB Common Entrance at 13.

 

 

We are a thriving co-ed independent preparatory school for over 450 children, which offers great opportunities for its pupils. The school is forward-thinking yet traditional with a strong family ethos and an excellent reputation. Founded in Switzerland in 1949 and opened in London in 1951, Hill House became the first school to teach in two different countries at the same time with the same children. The school still has an annex in Switzerland which hosts specialist courses throughout the year.
