What we are looking for:

Emmaus Catholic Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a full time KS2 Teacher at St Joseph’s RC Primary School, Reddish. The successful candidate will be a leading practitioner with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, modelling effective pedagogy and practice to inspire Early Years team members. They will be able to deliver a clear curriculum promoting ‘Strong Foundations’, (Ofsted October 2024) and work with zest, drive and determination to enable all individuals to achieve their full potential within a happy and caring Catholic community. The post holder will have the ability to translate the vision into best practice through innovative planning and teaching that provides high quality learning.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be committed to safeguarding our pupils;
  • Continue to promote positive relationships with children, parents and other stakeholders;
  • Provide evidence of excellent classroom practice;
  • Have children’s learning and development at the heart of their philosophy;
  • Show commitment to experience of raising achievement in all children;
  • Understand the importance of and be committed to Assessment for Learning and high-quality feedback to ensure that children make rapid progress;
