KS3 One-to-One Tutor

16 hours per week

We are an inclusive, and caring centre recently judged ‘good’ by Ofsted. At heart, we aim to ensure we best meet the needs of our students. Our centre supports the most vulnerable students including those who have SEND and are disadvantaged. Many of our students experience significant barriers to learning and some have adverse childhood experiences. 

This one to one teaching role is an opportunity to make a positive difference for those students who require additional support to access their mainstream schooling and overcome barriers to learning and improved behaviour. Working in close collaboration with a team of teaching assistants, hub coordinators and the leadership team, you will help deliver a curriculum that supports KS3 students, who access our centre, to improve their attendance, behaviour for learning and wellbeing. Supporting them to embrace routines and ultimately become re-engaged in mainstream education.

We will provide a welcoming and supportive working environment, an experienced leadership team, fantastic young people, who need the help the most, and an abundance of resources.

Hourly rate dependent on qualifications. 

1. M6 Higher rate for those with QTS - £32.61 per hour
2. UN5 Medium rate for those with relevant degree but no QTS - £23.49 per hour
3. UN1 Lower rate for those with no degree or QTS - £16.25 per hour
