We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our Sixth Form team as a KS5 Administrative Support. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our students and help maintain a positive, supportive, and productive Sixth Form environment.

Purpose of the Role

To work under the direct instruction of the Assistant Principal – Sixth Form, providing essential administrative support and contributing to the smooth running of the Sixth Form.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Assistant Principal and Sixth Form team.
  • Monitor Sixth Form study areas to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with Heads of Year to implement strategies that enhance student productivity during school hours.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate pupil attendance records, producing reports as required.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating annual Sixth Form events.
  • Build and maintain a strong alumni network, fostering connections with former students.
  • Uphold and promote the values of the school, serving as a positive role model for students.
  • Act as the first point of contact for parents/carers and visitors arriving at the school.

In 1993 Guru Nanak Sikh College (an independent school) was opened at the request of the community by our founder Sant Baba Amar Singh Ji, whose vision is that through education we can eradicate poverty and ignorance.

The Academy is an oversubscribed all through Academy in Hayes, Hillingdon. It currently has a 7 form of entry in the Secondary Phase with a Sixth Form and 2 form of entry in the Primary Phase.

We take our responsibility for educating young people very seriously. We aim to help them develop confidence and self-esteem and we are proud of all that our pupils and staff achieve. We are a happy Academy with delightful, enthusiastic pupils, excellent hard working staff, supportive parents and loyal governors. We welcome people from all range of cultures and faiths.
