We're in search of an exceptional Lead Practitioner for English, with outstanding teaching skills and a genuine passion for motivating both students and colleagues. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Improving teaching and learning standards, while also supporting curriculum development. 
  • Researching and evaluating innovative curricular practices, drawing on research outcomes and external evidence to inform own practice and that of colleagues.
  • Auditing subject practices and policies and advising the Curriculum Team on addressing issues.
  • Setting high teaching standards, providing training and support to teachers
  • Analysing data to inform strategies, and contributing to school improvement plans
  • Utilising statistical data and other information to evaluate pupils’ progress and attainment, judging the effectiveness of teaching and learning at all key stages.
