As Lead Practitioner of English, you’ll work closely with the experienced Subject Leader and current Lead Practitioners to enhance the quality of teaching and learning within the department. You’ll play a pivotal role in raising attainment, improving outcomes, and ensuring that every student develops a love for literature and language. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with the Deputy Headteacher and the Teaching and Learning team to drive consistency and excellence across the whole school, contributing to our shared vision of progress and growth.

To excel in this role, you’ll need to be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a passion for English and a commitment to student success. You’ll bring a wealth of experience, creativity, and leadership skills to inspire both students and staff. Your ability to contribute to and enhance our comprehensive CPD programme will be vital in supporting professional development across the school.
