LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming) is looking for an innovative and dedicated Education Specialist to join our dynamic team in the South East region. This is an incredible opportunity to play a vital role in shaping the future by promoting sustainable food production, farming, and environmental awareness across schools, farms, and virtual platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educational Program Design: Develop and deliver a termly plan, including workshops, seminars, and school visits, ensuring a balanced and impactful learning experience.
  • Project Coordination: Manage education projects, track progress, and report on outputs, budget adherence, and impact metrics.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with LEAF members, partner organizations, and schools in your region.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Conduct quarterly evaluations and present insights to the Education team to refine and enhance our programs.
  • Networking and Outreach: Expand LEAF's network by engaging with regional farmers, promoting membership, and facilitating farm visits for schools.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with at least 3 years of recent teaching experience. And have an understanding of EYFS, Primary, and Secondary curricula.
  • Passionate Educator: Deep understanding of the curriculum and a commitment to driving sustainability through education.
  • Innovative Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create engaging presentations and deliver content both in-person and virtually.
