Repton School Al Barsha wishes to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the team from January 2025. This is a permanent, term time position.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support the planning, delivery and evaluation of teaching and learning opportunities
- Prepare the classroom and resources for lessons
- Support all groups of students to raise attainment and progress both individually and in groups
- Observing student performance and reporting on observations to the Teacher
- Facilitating learning through play
- Work in collaboration and communicating with parents
- Assisting with excursions and events such as Sports Day
Required Qualifications and Skills
- High School qualification or equivalent
- Education or Early Childhood qualifications would be an advantage
- Positive outlook and mindset
- Commitment and understanding of wellbeing of others as well as themselves
- Fluent and proficient spoken, written and reading of English
- Clear and effective communication
- Compassionate and nurturing, with a sense of humour and fun
