Job overview
We are seeking a positive, proactive Learning Support Assistant to provide support for our students. This is a permanent, term-time only post (30 hours per week, Monday to Friday currently from 8.45am-3.30pm with 45 minutes for lunch) available immediately through the school’s highly successful Learning Support Department.
The role will involve supporting students in classrooms and at times working with individuals or small groups in our Learning Support hub. Part-time applications from suitable candidates will be considered although a commitment to the full working school day is essential.
King Edward VI School is a popular 11-18 comprehensive school rated Good by OfSTED in 2022 with recognition of outstanding practice and high expectations. The school is well-regarded within the community and has a reputation for high quality teaching. Lichfield is a small, vibrant cathedral city which is easily accessible from the surrounding areas.
