Lecturer in English (Chelsea Centre)

About the role

The Essential Skills department has an opportunity for a creative and dynamic lecturer in English to join the team at the Chelsea Centre for Creative Industries. This post will suit an inspirational teacher with experience of delivering GCSE English language, particularly to resit students, with a commitment to bringing out the best in every student. The successful candidate needs to be collaborative and willing to consult with colleagues across vocational curriculum areas. In addition, they will play an important role in helping adult students progress in further education and employment

The successful candidate will be expected to teach 16-18 GCSE groups and adult classes. An interest in promoting extra-curricular activities would be an advantage, and commitment to embedding equality, diversity and inclusion in delivery is essential.
