Contract: 32.5 Hours Per Week, Term Time Only +5 days
Hillcrest Academy are seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Level 1 Teaching Assistant. This role is of great importance to our work as an Academy. The successful candidate will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff to support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
The ideal applicant will have:
· The ability to work constructively as part of a team.
· Experience with working with or caring for children of relevant age.
· Good numeracy/literacy skills.

About Hillcrest Academy
Hillcrest Academy is a larger-than-average primary school located in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The school provides places for around 400 pupils aged 3-11. Hillcrest Academy is part of the GORSE Academies Trust, which is responsible for the running of around eight schools in the local area, at both primary and secondary level.
Hillcrest takes great pride in its extremely diverse catchment area, with a high proportion of pupils from ethnic minority backgrounds and a similarly high proportion of pupils who speak English as an additional language.
