It is close to the town centre, a 15-minute walk from the train station or a 10-minute drive from the M40. The pupils and staff work together to ensure everyone is achieving and succeeding. It is a fantastic school where pupils make excellent progress and gain valuable life experiences to take with them on their next steps into secondary school. We also value the journeys of all our employees and provide ongoing training to give you the opportunity to flourish and continue your career in education, whether this be through internal Continuous Professional Development (CPD) training or external providers through the academy, we want our staff to achieve and be successful as well as our pupils.

At Harriers Banbury Academy, we are looking to appoint a highly motivated, creative and enthusiastic individual to join our happy, forward thinking school.

We are passionate about giving pupils the very best start in life with a firm belief that aspirational education transforms lives. Our core belief is that for all students to have high aspirations they must believe in themselves (SELF WORTH), be actively engaged in their learning (ENGAGEMENT) and see the connection between what they learn today and who they want to become tomorrow (PURPOSE).

Harriers Academy is part of Aspirations Academies who sponsor primary and secondary academies located within three geographical regions, or districts: West London, South Coast (Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset) and Banbury (Oxfordshire).

Our dedicated staff are passionate about pupils’ learning and provide a welcoming environment and an engaging curriculum, which challenges all of our pupils to achieve their best.  Fostering a great partnership with parents and carers is extremely important to us and we want you to be actively involved in your child’s education.

The world we live in is constantly evolving and we can only predict what part our children will play in it when they leave school or higher education.  Therefore, at Harriers Banbury Academy, we are committed to developing responsible members of the community who are prepared for the next stage of their education and eventually for the real world.

We expect our children to work hard, look smart and respect each other.  Our pupils, who are polite, hard working and friendly, tell us they love their lessons, enjoy school and are proud to be part of our Academy.

Finally, and most importantly, primary school should be fun and our pupils leave with happy memories that last for a lifetime.
