Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced ICT/Computing Teacher to join our team at Ghars International School. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in ICT/Computing to students in KS3 and KS4.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that is both challenging and accessible, catering to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and foster their understanding of key concepts.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the department and school.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Proven experience teaching ICT/Computing to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Strong knowledge of ICT/Computing curriculum requirements and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to supporting student success.
