We are extremely proud to announce that, within the last two academic years, Quay Academy have won five awards through the DRET Inspiration Awards for Teaching Excellence. Two of those awards were "Primary Academy of the Year" and the other for "Music Academy of the Year".

We are so happy that all the hard work of our staff and the pupils has been recognised and rewarded by the Trust.

At Quay Academy communication with parents, carers and the community is very important to us. We aim to give children a well-rounded educational experience. As well as a broad and diverse curriculum we also have a range of extra-curricular clubs and a residential trips for pupils in Year 6. Enrichment is an important part of our curriculum so that children are provided with real, relevant and exciting learning experiences.

We work tirelessly to develop the academic aspects of education, but also on the spiritual, moral and emotional development of all the children in our care. That is why we are so proud that we are a Values School. This is where a school deliberately and systematically supports its curriculum with a set of universal positive values. These are woven into the curriculum in order to give a variety of opportunities for these values to be thought about and used in the life of the school, community and wider community. Our aim is to help children become good citizens who have achieved their very best during their time here.

Our dedicated teaching staff create a supportive environment that ensures all pupils feel involved, cared for and ready to learn. We hope for our children to leave our school with a confidence and self-belief that will prepare them for all of life's challenges.
