Part-time, permanent 18.5 hours/week - 0.443 fte (TTO +5 days)

Grade 4, points 7 – 10: £23,585 - £25,276 FTE

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with strong administrative skills to join our dedicated Professional Services team that supports students in a wide variety of ways.

You will be working alongside our current MIS and Admissions Administrator as part of the wider MIS team, processing new applications and providing advice to new applicants and sometimes their parents, as required. You will also be maintaining student records, producing reports and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our student data in a variety of ways.

The role will also involve checking and processing online applications, dealing with queries from new applicants and monitoring progress towards our recruitment targets.

Joining our successful administration team which includes attendance, reception and school liaison alongside marketing and examinations, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to learn from the wider team and for you to develop new skills.

The successful candidate will impress us with their ability to multi-task and manage their time, as well as their enthusiasm for developing new skills, and they will enjoy working in a highly collaborative environment. They'll be adaptable, creative and energetic with strong ICT skills, and a great administrator. I’m delighted that you’ve expressed an interest in Bilborough College.

Bilborough is a flourishing college with strong student outcomes, fantastic enrichment and development opportunities, and an innovative and creative teaching and learning culture. We are located between Nottingham and Derby in our bright, modern and well-equipped, purpose-built college campus. As a result of its excellent reputation, student numbers have grown by 300 in the last 3 years and the college is expecting to be at a maximum of 2165 students from September 2024. 

We are extremely proud that following our latest Ofsted inspection in November 2023, Ofsted rated the college 'Outstanding' for student behaviour and attitudes' and 'Good' for 'Overall effectiveness.' The vision of the MAT, sponsored by Coventry University, is to become a national hub for excellence in 16-19 education. Staff and students at Bilborough College are already benefiting from working as part of a MAT and we see many opportunities for exciting developments as we work in partnership.
