About the Position
Contract type: Part-time, 0.20 FTE
Salary: Based on experience
Start date: January 2025
Your main responsibilities will include:
- To be able to teach a Modern Foreign Language to Pre-School, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Planning and delivering stimulating lessons to pupils in accordance with our curriculum.
- Using a variety of methods and approaches to match curricular objectives and the range of pupil needs to ensure equal opportunity for all pupils.
- Working effectively as part of the Prep School team to improve the quality of teaching and learning.
- Setting high expectations for all pupils, to deepen their knowledge and understanding and to maximise their achievement.
- Leading engaging and motivating learning activities to enhance pupils’ understanding.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A relevant qualification in Spanish or French.
- Experience teaching.
- The desire to establish effective working relationships with professional colleagues and associate staff.
- Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing.
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with children towards successful outcomes.
- A talent for inspiring confidence as a positive role model.
