Norwegian Language Teaching in Spain
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated teacher to lead an intensive 6-month Norwegian language course for Spanish nurses preparing for the B2 Norwegian exam at the end of May 2025. The position is located one hour south of Barcelona. Opportunities for permanent employment.
Qualifications:
• Approved teaching education/PPU (Practical Pedagogical Education) is required.
• Teaching competence in Norwegian.
• Strong communication skills and pedagogical abilities.
• Experience in preparing students for the B2 exam is an advantage but not required.
In addition, at least two of the following competencies must be met:
• 30 ECTS in adult education.
• 30 ECTS in teaching adults basic skills.
• 30 ECTS in Norwegian as a second language (from a Norwegian university or college).
You must be able to provide documented experience in teaching adults.
It is also desirable to have:
• Competence in assessing basic skills and adapting education.
• Knowledge of adult Norwegian language education.
• Experience in developing and conducting courses.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian, and preferably another language (English or Spanish).
• Experience with digital tools and learning platforms.
Personal suitability will be given great importance, and we are looking for someone who:
• Can meet individuals with respect and support their development.
• Adapts to different learning needs and shows patience in teaching.
• Communicates clearly and understandably, both orally and in writing.
• Is structured and independent, with the ability to plan and adapt teaching according to the participants' individual needs.

Socrates Educa International School Salou is an international school in southern Catalonia which opened in 2012.
The school, located south of Barcelona between the mountains and the sea, has a new building complex with potential to welcome up to 800 students, and offers a complete education to students aged 1 to 18.
